Born in Amsterdam in 1971, Martjan Lammertink has researched endangered forest birds in Cuba, Mexico, Indonesia, Myanmar, Argentina, and the United States. Martjan has a MSc and PhD from Universiteit van Amsterdam. Martjan currently is a researcher at the Conservation Science department of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.
