  • Opportunities exist for study and research in many phases of zoology, particularly in the descriptive and experimental aspects of the vertebrate anatomy, with emphasis on comparative and functional approaches; developmental biology, with emphasis on comparative and experimental embryology; invertebrate zoology; and vertebrate zoology.

    The field does not have a language requirement, but proficiency in one or more foreign languages may be required by the student's Special Committee.
