Positions
- Extension Associate Sr, Biological and Environmental Engineering (BEE), College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS)
My applied research, extension, and teaching efforts focus on two broad missions of CALS: 1) competitive agricultural systems and 2) greater harmony between agriculture and the environment. More specifically, my program emphasis addresses water quantity and quality issues in agriculture and the transport and fate of nutrients in the landscape.

outreach overview
- My extension activity consists of conducting applied field-based research with cooperating entities, providing technical information resources and guidance regarding water and soil management practices, and carrying out various educational training activities. The applied research is carried out on Cornell University farms or done at other locations selected in cooperation with state and local government to investigate specific concepts or problems. The visibility of the applied research often leads to further requests for technical information, either directly or via referrals, and technical support is provided to county, regional, state, and campus personnel. Educational training is generally coordinated with Soil and Water Conservation Districts, USDA-NRCS, non-profit organizations and/or Extension organized training events and meetings.
